Man I haven't had good Jamaican is years. Was just passing by and saw the sign. Hungry tired.
Had the Ackee&Saltfish. It was like Angels dancing on my tongue.
amazing , as good if not better than Jamaica and I've been to Jamaica over 20 times.
Portion was huge , I can't usually eat that much, but I Cleaned the plate, was so good.

If ya want authentic Jamaican this is the spot , definitely worth making the trip for.
    You won't be disappointed.

Owner operated also , that's a big plus.

I'll be going back to try rest of menu.

Thank you to you guys for  amazing meal.

Where to start. First of all I ordered a jerk chicken dark meat  and curry goat combo and a beef patty. 20 mins and $20 later I received a disappointment.

The portion size was insulting. I received a quarter of a chicken breast which is white meat. And half chicken thigh that was mostly bone. The Curry goat was not flavorful and not cooked long enough because several pieces were tough. Beef patty is flat, dry, no flavor, greasy.

They should be ashamed to serve food like this. Where is the integrity!

Update... i tried to eat this because I didn't want to wast my money but found plastic in the goat.

THE FOOD IS AMAZING. BEST CARRIBEAN FOOD ON THIS SIDE OF TOWN.

Now for the horrible service. I'm a repeat customer and the service gets worse and worse every single time I come here. They treat me with less respect, complain about my simple request more and more, take longer and longer. I sattdown (no pun intended) and watched 3 parties sit down after me, get their food, eat, and leave before I even received my plate of jerk bbq chicken. I asked her politley why this happened and she lashed out at me and literally started pointing her fingers at the chef and telling me "You need to ask him!!"

Im like...what the hell? Chef is back there doing his best. You just are not expressing importance to the order being received chronologically. I arrived at 2:50 and I'm writing this review at 4:07 with no food in front of me and nobody else is even in the restaurant. Maybe it's personal? This is hands down the most trash service I've ever received at a restaurant. SATTDOWN IS CANCELED, GO TO PICO BLVD IF YOU WANT BETTER CARRIBEAN FOOD.

Had already dug into my food before getting a good picture. This place is definitely worth trying. I didn't have the appetite to try the oxtails but had a little bit of everything else. The chef came out to make sure everything was ok for us. The vibe is good. Parking is a little frustrating, but we got lucky. If you like Jamaican food this is definitely the spot for you to try.

This is in a small plaza in Ventura Blvd in Studio City. My daughter let me tasted their jerk chicken when we came one time to visit them. And boy!!!.. that was the bomb!
So authentic! Love the rice with beans and plantains! Their oxtail was just pretty okay with me but its so tender.
Their patties are fantastic aa well.  Since we're just visiting here couple of days from the bay area, we only got to eat a couple of dishes. Next time We come back, I'll make sure, we'll try the goat and other stuff.
